FROM THE FOUNDER
CODY JENSEN
I started apprenticing for my dad, William Jensen, when I was 14 years old. He believed in starting from the ground up, and I did that quite literally when I first worked in the alfalfa production fields sweeping for harmful bugs. After walking fields for three summers, I moved on to a conditioning and packaging facility during college, where I received additional education and training about purity, germ, and packaging seed. During this time, I learned about the importance of seed quality, but the most impactful lesson for me as a businessman was the value of people. These early years of hard work laid the foundation for me to start my first seed company, Forage Complete, in 2008. Now, with 40 years of combined knowledge, Western Hybrids brings a simple, straight forward approach to doing business. .
